In April
the special report Great Power Equipment, Hard Core Strength | Localization Matching Rate of Core Components of Shenyang Power Equipment Exceeds 60% was released, demonstrating HYMW’s important role and development achievements in Shenyang’s power equipment industry chain.

In the same month
the company supplied magnet wire products for the million-volt high-impedance prototype ODFPS-1000000kVA/1000kV transformer for TBEA Shenyang and Wujiang Transformer.

In May
HYMW passed the certification of 2026 Liaoning Provincial Advanced Intelligent Factory.

In June
four categories of HYMW leading products (CTC, PICC, Enameled PICC and Enameled Wires) passed the product carbon footprint certification of CTI Certification Co., Ltd., and the enterprise greenhouse gas emission verification was completed simultaneously.

2025

HYMW supplied magnet wires for Wuhan Chint’s “first ‘Double Million’ prototype” ODFPS-1000000kVA/1000kV transformer; and supplied magnet wires for the first domestic 1000kV/1000MVA “Double Million” nuclear power transformer prototype of TBEA Shenyang.

In March
Mr. Yang Xuqing, Chairman of HYMW, was elected as the Meritorious Vice Chairman of the Shenyang High-Tech Enterprise Association.

On April 18
the Listing Committee of the Beijing Stock Exchange reviewed and approved the company’s initial public offering application.

In May
the company was commended for outstanding contributions made in the critical‑effort year of the Three‑Year Initiative for Comprehensive Revitalization and New Breakthroughs.

In August
HYMW was successfully listed on the Beijing Stock Exchange, with the stock code: 920018.BJ. Mr. Lyu Zhicheng, Mayor of Shenyang, attended the ceremony to congratulate and participate in the listing bell-ringing launch ceremony.

In the same month
HYMW was awarded the AAAAA credit rating and obtained the “Contract-abiding and Credit-worthy Enterprise” certificate; HYMW joined the China Association of Public Companies; and the company was elected as a director unit of the 10th Council of the Wire and Cable Branch of China Electrical Equipment Industry Association.

HYMW began production of magnet wire products for converter transformers of the ±800kV UHV DC project in Northeast Brazil of TBEA Shenyang, which is the first overseas wholly-invested build-operate UHV project of State Grid.

2024

On January 29
Xi’an Hongchang Magnet Wire Co., Ltd., controlled by Shenyang Hongyuan Magnet Wire Co., Ltd. was established in Xi’an, with HYMW holding 70% of the shares and Xi’an Hualong Electrical Material Co., Ltd. holding 30%. 
In the same month, HYMW was rated as “Liaoning Provincial Single Champion Enterprise” by the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Liaoning Province.

In April
HYMW became a vice-chairman unit of the Liaoning General Chamber of Entrepreneurs.

In May
Liaoning Satellite TV’s Liaoning News program broadcast a special report on HYMW, showing its development achievements and technical accumulation over more than 40 years of deep cultivation in the magnet wire field.

In the same month
The company has received a commendation notice from the CPC Liaoning Provincial Committee and the People's Government of Liaoning Province for its outstanding contributions in the first‑year campaign of the Three‑Year Initiative for Comprehensive Revitalization and New Breakthroughs.

On June 14
HYMW obtained the counseling acceptance letter from the Liaoning Securities Regulatory Bureau; in the same month, HYMW was approved as a member unit of the China Machinery Industry Federation.

On June 21
HYMW submitted the IPO application materials to the Beijing Stock Exchange. On June 29, the Beijing Stock Exchange officially accepted the public offering application.

In the same year
HYMW wholly-owned subsidiary Shenyang Changsheng Electrical Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. obtained the IATF 16949 Automotive Quality Management System Certification.
Mr. Yang Xuqing, Chairman of HYMW, was awarded the Liaoning Provincial May 1st Labor Medal.

2023

In January
considering the overall strategic layout, HYMW voluntarily withdrew the ChiNext IPO application documents from the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, and the ChiNext IPO review was terminated.

On August 3
HYMW was officially listed on the basic layer of the National Equities Exchange and Quotations (NEEQ, “New Third Board”), with the stock code: 874195.

On November 28
HYMW signed a new version of the Beijing Stock Exchange listing counseling agreement with Minsheng Securities and submitted the counseling filing materials to the Liaoning Securities Regulatory Bureau. The next day, the Liaoning Securities Regulatory Bureau accepted the Beijing Stock Exchange counseling filing.

In the same year
the company’s scientific research achievement won the Third Prize of Liaoning Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award. HYMW successfully passed the Integration of Informatization and Industrialization Management System Certification.

2022

In March
HYMW passed the audit of VinFast Vietnam supplier system and successfully entered VinFast Vietnam supply chain.

In April
at the new product and technology appraisal meeting organized by the China Machinery Industry Federation, the appraisal committee composed of academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and authoritative industry experts reviewed and concluded that the comprehensive performance indicators of HYMW two products, Ultra-thin CTC and Corona-Resistant Enameled Rectangular Copper Wire with High PDIV for 800V Drive Motors of New Energy Vehicles, both reached the international leading level among similar products; the comprehensive performance indicator of the High-Temperature Resistant Epoxy Enameled CTC reached the international advanced level among similar products.

On June 23
the Liaoning Securities Regulatory Bureau completed the counseling acceptance of Minsheng Securities. On June 29, HYMW’s ChiNext IPO application was officially accepted by the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.

In December
Mr. Yang Xuqing, Chairman of HYMW, was elected as an executive member of the 13th Executive Committee of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce.

Relying on years of technical accumulation, HYMW fully deployed the new energy track and built a fully enclosed digital intelligent workshop in Liaozhong District, Shenyang, focusing on the R&D and mass production of magnet wires for high-power drive motors of new energy vehicles.

2020

On May 6
HYMW passed the ISO 50001 Energy Management System Certification.

On October 16
the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology officially publicized the list, and HYMW was awarded the title of National Green Factory.

On November 10
the joint-stock company obtained the National High-Tech Enterprise certification for the first time as the main entity.

In November
HYMW signed a listing counseling agreement with Minsheng Securities. On December 1, the counseling filing was confirmed by the Liaoning Securities Regulatory Bureau.

In December
HYMW was recognized as a National “Manufacturing Single Champion Demonstration Enterprise” by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the China Federation of Industrial Economics.

2019

In June
HYMW CTC workshop was awarded the title of National Advanced Collective of Machinery Industry by the China Machinery Industry Federation and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security.

HYMW supplied magnet wire products for the converter transformers of the world’s first flexible DC power grid project — the ±500kV Zhangbei Renewable Energy Flexible DC Power Grid Pilot Demonstration Project, and the world’s first multi-terminal hybrid flexible DC project — the Wudongde Hydropower Station to Guangdong-Guangxi UHV Multi-Terminal Flexible DC Demonstration Project.

2018

In May
Shenyang High-Tech Enterprise Association was formally established, and HYMW was a founding unit and the first vice-chairman unit of the association.

In August
Liaoning General Chamber of Entrepreneurs was established, and HYMW became one of its first member units.

In October
HYMW was rated as a “Liaoning Provincial Specialized, Refined, Differential and Innovative (SRDI) Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise” by the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Liaoning Province.

In December
HYMW completed the shareholding system reform and was officially renamed Shenyang Hongyuan Magnet Wire Co., Ltd.

Meanwhile
HYMW supplied magnet wire products for the first million-volt AC prototype 1000kV/1000MVA transformer of Wujiang Transformer Co., Ltd.
 

2017

The self-developed CTC of HYMW was successfully applied to the “Changji–Guquan ±1100kV UHV DC Power Transmission Project”, which features the world’s highest voltage level, largest transmission capacity, longest transmission distance and most advanced technical level. This marks that HYMW products have entered the ranks of the world’s top magnet wire technologies, achieving a major technological leap in the industry.

2016

HYMW supplied Magnet wire products for the converter transformers of the world’s first 10GW “Xilingol League–Taizhou ±800kV UHV DC Power Transmission Project (Xitai DC)” for TBEA Shenyang Transformer Group Co., Ltd. and Shandong Electric Power Company.

2015

On September 17
the China Machinery Industry Federation established the “China Machinery Industry Winding Wire Engineering Research Center” based on the company. HYMW became the only platform enterprise in China with an magnet wire engineering research center.

In the same year
HYMW supplied Magnet wire products for the converter transformers of the “State Grid Xiamen Flexible DC Project” for TBEA Shenyang Transformer Group Co., Ltd. and Shandong Electric Power Company.
 

2014

As a main drafting unit, HYMW took the lead in formulating the industry standard DL/T 1387 Guide for Selection of Winding Wires for Power Transformers.

On December 24
Shenyang Hongyuan Magnet Wire Co., Ltd. completed the acquisition of Shenyang Changsheng Electrical Equipment Technology Co., Ltd., making the latter its wholly-owned subsidiary.
 

2012-2013

HYMW supplied magnet wires for the ±800kV DC converter transformers of the “State Grid Hami-Zhengzhou Project” for TBEA Shenyang Transformer Group Co., Ltd. and Shandong Electric Power Company.

2011

Shenyang Changsheng Electrical Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. (formerly known as Liaoning Hongyuan Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd.) was incorporated.

In the same year
HYMW was recognized as a National High-Tech Enterprise for the first time.
 

2010

The modern magnet wire industrial base at No. 12 Shenxi 3rd East Road, Shenyang Economic and Technological Development Zone was officially completed and put into operation. The factory covers a total area of 66,770 square meters with a building area of 45,000 square meters; the production space layout is scientific and reasonable, the process flow is smooth and efficient, and the dust-proof and temperature control systems are complete and precise. In the same period, HYMW held an industry new product technology appraisal meeting, where multiple new technologies and products were highly recognized by industry experts and end users.

In the same year
the provincial-level enterprise technology center was officially approved and established; HYMW’s CTC products were directly exported to Areva’s Indonesian factory for the first time, achieving a breakthrough in zero direct product exports.
 

2009

HYMW produced 87-strand epoxy and enameled semi-hard netting taped CTC for the 780,000kVA/220kV transformer of TBEA Shenyang “Nanjing Xiaguan Project”. This product has the largest number of strands among CTC used in power transformer windings worldwide.

In the same year
HYMW obtained the Occupational Safety and Health Management System Certification for the first time, and passed the integrated certification of Quality, Environment and Occupational Safety and Health Management Systems.

2008

HYMW became the first domestic enterprise to supply magnet wires for converter transformers of two national-level UHV DC projects simultaneously. It fully realized the localization of magnet wires for UHV transformers, broke the overseas technology and product monopoly, and completed the import substitution of core materials. The two projects are:
The first ±800kV UHV DC power transmission project of State Grid — the Xiangjiaba–Shanghai Project;
The first ±800kV UHV DC power transmission demonstration project of China Southern Power Grid — the Yunnan–Guangdong Project;

In the same year
YMW supplied magnet wires for the first 1000kV/1000MVA “Double Million” transformer in China’s first million-volt UHV AC power transmission pilot demonstration project — the Southeast Shanxi–Nanyang–Jingmen Project.

Also in this year
HYMW supplied magnet wires for the DFP-417MVA/500kV transformer of TBEA Shenyang “Tianwan Nuclear Power Project”. The project required that the unbalance rate of the winding resistance of the transformer and that of the operating transformer winding shall not exceed 0.5%. This marked the first application of the company’s products in the nuclear power field.
 

2007-2008

HYMW supplied magnet wires for the ±500kV converter transformers of the “China-Russia Grid Interconnection Heihe Back-to-Back Project”, the first set of fully domestically designed converter transformers of TBEA Shenyang Transformer Group Co., Ltd., and realized the domestic production of Linked Combined CTC.

2007

In July
three categories and ten varieties of CTC series products independently innovated and developed by the company successfully passed the national-level appraisal for new products and technologies, organized by the China Machinery Industry Federation and presided over by the Liaoning Provincial Economic Commission and Liaoning Electric Power Supply Co., Ltd. The appraisal committee unanimously concluded that the technical and economic indicators of the company's 87-strand epoxy CTC series reached the advanced level of similar domestic products, and the research on self-bonding semi-hard CTC technology took a leading position in China.

In the same year
the CTC won the honorary titles of “Liaoning Famous Brand Product” and “Shenyang Famous Brand Product”.
HYMW obtained the Environmental Management System Certification for the first time.

2006

HYMW supplied magnet wire products for the ±500kV converter transformers of the “Guizhou-Guangdong II” DC power transmission project, a domestically produced project of TBEA Shenyang Transformer Group Co., Ltd.

2005

With a strategic focus on the UHV (Ultra-High Voltage) industry, HYMW launched its second large-scale technical transformation and expansion project. It built a 3,400-square-meter modern steel-structured workshop and added a full range of professional production equipment for CTC, enameled wires, conforming wires and PICC, significantly enhancing its independent R&D and scientific research testing capabilities.

In the same year
HYMW was awarded the title of “Shenyang 3A Enterprise for Quality and Reputation” by the Shenyang Municipal People’s Government. 

2002

The self-developed CTC for ±500kV converter transformers passed the technical assessment by Siemens experts, achieving a key breakthrough in domestic substitution of core magnet wire materials for DC converter transformers.

2000

The company purchased over 34,000 square meters of land in Sitaizi Village and built production workshops with a total area of over 11,000 square meters. It simultaneously launched its first technical transformation, taking the lead in the industry to implement a fully enclosed, dust-proof and temperature-controlled clean production environment management model.

1997

The company was awarded the honorary title of “Star Enterprise” by the Shenyang Municipal People’s Government.

1987

Mr. Yang Xuqing, Chairman of the Board, formally took over the operation of the enterprise. He purchased civilian houses in Sitaizi Village and expanded the factory premises, growing Shenyang Shaling Electric Wires Factory into a small specialized magnet wire manufacturer with a site area of over 2,000 square meters.

1983

Shenyang Shaling Electric Wires Factory, the predecessor of Shenyang Hongyuan Magnet Wire Co., Ltd., was founded in Sitaizi Village, Shaling Town, Yuhong District, Shenyang, marking its official entry into the magnet wire manufacturing industry.
