Recently, Hongyuan Shares, a pioneer in the production of electromagnetic wires for ultra- and extra-high-voltage transformers in China, issued an announcement regarding its public offering of shares to unspecified qualified investors and listing on the Beijing Stock Exchange. On August 20, the company was listed on the Beijing Stock Exchange, becoming part of Liaoning’s A-share capital market, with its opening-day gain exceeding 300%.

Shenyang Hongyuan Electromagnetic Wire Co., Ltd. was founded in 1983 and is a specialized enterprise integrating the design, development, manufacturing, and sales of electromagnetic wire for power transformer windings. The company’s flagship products include oxygen-free copper rods, flat copper conductors for electrical applications, enameled flat copper winding wires, silk-covered flat copper winding wires, paper-insulated winding wires, and transposed conductors, which meet the requirements for ultra-high-voltage and extra-high-voltage windings—rated at 500 kV and above—as well as for ultra-large-capacity transformers, reactors, and instrument transformers. Over more than four decades of integration and innovation, the company has undergone four major phases of leapfrog development, achieving industrial upgrading and transformation, forging a path of high-level, independent innovation, and positioning itself at the forefront of the national electrical equipment manufacturing value chain. As a pioneer in domestic electromagnetic wire for ultra- and extra-high-voltage transformers, the company has taken the lead in realizing three major breakthroughs in the application of its electromagnetic wire products in China’s ultra- and extra-high-voltage sectors, including ±500 kV, ±800 kV, and ±1100 kV, thereby securing a leading market position in the field of extra-high-voltage transformer electromagnetic wire. From 2022 to 2024, the company’s operating revenue reached RMB 1.311 billion, RMB 1.461 billion, and RMB 2.072 billion, representing year-on-year growth of 31.1%, 11.47%, and 41.84%, respectively; net profit attributable to shareholders was RMB 50 million, RMB 64.47 million, and RMB 101 million, up 6.25%, 28.94%, and 57.14% year on year, respectively. Hongyuan Shares’ IPO price is set at RMB 9.17 per share, with 30.6818 million shares to be issued, raising a total of RMB 281 million. The proceeds will be allocated to the construction of a production base for core components of photovoltaic mounting systems, the development of an R&D center, an intelligent transformation and expansion project, and the replenishment of working capital.
